Veronica Mars: An Original Mystery by Rob Thomas: &hellip by Rob Thomas
I'm shocked by how true-to-the-show the characters voices are (Dick and Weevil's, especially). I was admittedly a tad skeptical that they wouldn't translate into print as well. Also, the mystery itself is what I've come to expect with the show, full of lots of twisty turns and roadblocks all along the way.

The only real complaint I have about it is that I wish that Logan had played a much larger role in it (I always kept expecting him to go on a leave of absence from the military, but alas... Then again, this shows how much he's changed/ how much more grown-up and committed he now is).

Admittedly when I first heard about Marissa's "Lunar Chronicles" series I was skeptical- it sounded like there was way too random plot elements tossed into a 400 page YA book than could possibly ever work. I... Don't know how I feel. On the one hand, it turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it to, but on the other hand, it was too perfect, everything was too happy-happy and went without a single hitch. There's 390 pages of build up to a war that takes all of 10 pages. I'm a bit disappointed that Tahereh didn't rip our hearts out and stomp on it at least once.

Basically, whatever you think will happen is actually a million times worse than actually does (I had all of these conspiracies about who would die and whatnot- not so much).

Oh, but it was hella funny (I can't tell you how many quotes I bookmarked in it). I'm really glad that Juliette was finally able to find her voice… Read more
