I love this movie. I just really love this movie!! It has captured the memories I have of this book and made it real. And I get teary every time I see it. This time I got to watch it with my mother, who for some reason doesn't remember the book. But she too enjoyed the movie. On a sad possibly ironic note, we happened to watch it the same night Maurice Sendak passed away. :o(
