4.0 out of 5 stars Die Hard In Space, July 18 2012
Lockout is one of those films that could have turned out quite badly if they had not chosen the right lead actor. Luckily they choose Guy Pearce playing a cross between Han Solo and John Mclane. He looks like he is having a ball playing the supreme cynical smart aleck with the requisite concealed heart of gold. Maggie Grace plays of him nicely as the imperiled daughter of the President. If this reminds you of the Escape films then that is intentional.

This is an enjoyable B movie best enjoyed with beer and pizza. Plot you have seen before, variable performances, and just plain fun. Reccomended

I just saw man on a ledge. This film got bad reviews and indifferent box office. Than goodness for blu ray. This is a great Friday night film. It has a good plot, it is never boring and zips along quite merrily. Much better than the usual academy award snore feast. Highly recommended and would watch again. Sometimes you just need some fun, thrills and suspense and this delivers in spades
Hudson Hawk (Special Edition) [Import] DVD ~ Michael Lehmann

You may have heard about this film, one of the most notorious flops of 1991. I first saw this in the theatre in 1991. At the time I thought it was brilliant and like nothing else you had ever seen. A very odd combo of action film, romance, comedy and out and out weirdness. Not surprisingly this has become a cult film over the years and holds up very well today. Bruce Willis and the rest of the cast apear to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. So go treat yourself with the new special edition DVD.You have the commentary track from the old dvd along with a few new featurettes, deleted scenes and a trivia track. A fun way to while away an evening. Love it or loathe it you will not forget this… Read more
