1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, Jan 27 2012
This was very disappointing and didn't contain much information that was at all useful. It appears to be an attempt at humour but contains what I consider to be a lot of misinformation and personal opinion. I have visited Paris three times in the past five years and have yet to experience most of what he claims to be the Parisian personality.
Faith by Peter James
Faith by Peter James
I accidentally discovered Peter James and was immediately hooked - I read his five Roy Grace novels in succession and they are truly page-turners. He writes in short concise chapters and each one is a cliffhanger. I hate to admit, but I occasionally jump ahead to get to the plot paragraphs because he keeps me on the edge of my seat (or couch as in my case). It is advisable to read them in order as he occasionally refers to incidents in the previous books in the series - although not necessary.
So I then read "Faith" and it is every bit as enthralling. I have turned several friends on to Mr James and they are all riveted by his writing. Highly recommended for mystery fans.
