I missed buying Frankenstein (1931) when it was out 4 years ago and have been kicking myself ever since. Its been selling for $30 or more on ebay and then you're sometimes buying a Brazillian edition(!!!).-- I enjoyed finally seeing the original (twice) and then watching it with the commentary turned on. I then watched Bride the same way. (okay so I'm a DVD nerd). This set was a bargain. While I think the first 3 Frankenstein films are REAL Classics I prefer Son of Frankenstein just a tad over the other two for personal reasons. Beautiful Package. Lots of Photos. Informative Track Listing. And the price is not too bad for a European Release. This 2 Disc set is in a tri-fold Digipack from Repertoire Records. That being said all the singles are here. The sound is very very good. The package for this set is superb. All the great songs are here. CD1 is fully mono. CD2 has 7 mono tracks. Put this set next to Begin Here and the 30th Anniversary of Odyssey and Oracle and you have all The Zombies you will ever… Read more

This DVD is a bit better but still only for the most die-hard and serious Scorpions fan out there. NOTE: The entire content of this DVD deals with Scorpions interviews done in 1990/91. There is no information beyond 1991.
How bad is it? Picture-wise it's pretty good. Content wise it cheats the buyer. I'll explain how... First: The back of the DVD case (lower right hand corner) lists the running time at 90 minutes. This disc is 50 minutes if you include the "credits" at the… Read more
