5.0 out of 5 stars Very practical..., Jan. 11 2010
If you really....I mean REALLY want to change, you MUST get this book. I'm half way through...and wow...I would say it can be as effective as actual psychotherapy sessions. Sometimes I found myself smiling to myself reading and reflecting on the various passages and exercises. It has been such a relief. I cannot deny there were moments of uneasiness....like someone peering right through you...like they have you all figured out. Yes, my ego at work here!! I am invited to confront some of my demons. 5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely lovely...., Jan. 11 2010
I would recommend this one to anyone. It may not be for everyone, depending on your approach, but I simply loved it. It was graceful, gentle and open. I read this book every night before going to bed and it eased me into a deep peaceful all embracing sleep. I really felt the essence of the message. I can't help but put his message into practice. The authors message made me fly.
Beyond Awakening: The End of the Spiritual Search by Jeff Foster
I found this book way too simplistic. I know that the idea of non-duality is simple, but the way he writes about it is so annoying. He writes in such a way that it says...DUH...DON'T YOU GET IT!! I am starting to, but definately not after attempting to read this book. I couldn't finish it. I don't know if it's my ego or or what but I was really turned off by the book's approach to the message. Again, maybe, my ego here again...I felt like a fool trying reading this book. I gave up. Might be good for someone else, but not for me.
