Amusant, drôle et intelligent. Toutes des petites capsules de la vie de famille de 3 garçons et leurs deux parents. Ceux-ci sont parfois exaspérés, parfois découragés mais la plupart du temps fiers de leurs 3 fils intelligents et rusés. Beaucoup d'amour dans cette famille et surtout ne vous attendez pas que ce soit toujours les parents qui aient le dernier mot! Excellent à écouter si on a des ados à la maison! Ces trois gars sont ados jusqu'au bout des ongles et les chicanes sont comme les vraies dans nos maisons!

I read that book many times because it is a marvelous book about courage and bravery of a young lady in a new country, able to find a life with only what she has;her ability to sew, hard work and hope. This story is so inspiring and so fun to read and enjoy. I love Jeanne Williams ( I have ALL her books) who won many prizes in that genre of literature. When you want to feel courageous and happy about life, that is the book to read!

I did not like the movie at all. Even if the music was beautiful ( but always interrupted) , it is not enough to forgive the bad acting, the impossible ability of the musicians who are good even if they did not play real music since 30 years. I could not stand the false admiration of everyone on the set trying to make the story possible. Confusion, awkwardness, exaggerations, cliches all over the place. The principal Russians actors were sympathetic though...But if you like like real music and real musicians... that is not for you...
