The Lightkeeper by Susan Wiggs
The Lightkeeper by Susan Wiggs
Susan Wiggs writes her romance novels with a tried and true formula....gorgeous heros/heroines, carrying heartbreaking histories, thrown together through most unusual circumstances into romantic settings.....what more could you ask. She writes them very well though and knows her readers. I usually enjoy historical romance novels "a la British" Bronte, Austen, etc. But these are pretty good for their type. I read mostly headier stuff, but I like to have a book like this handy when I need a little light escape fluff.
The Maiden's Hand by Susan Wiggs
The Maiden's Hand by Susan Wiggs
I do not usually read romance novels, but Susan Wiggs writes a good story with substance as well as the "required" love scenes. Her lovers often seem unable to control themselves and yield to the temptations of making love. Of course, the main characters are always extraordinarily gorgeous....therefore... Oh well! The story makes for a good read if you are tired of reading more "brainy" books.
Once Upon a Time: The Complete Second Season (Sous&hellip DVD ~ Robert Carlyle
If's fun to watch but there are soooo many obstacles to contend with that it is highly frustrating. The queen is portrayed particularly well as is Rumpelstiltskin. The other actors do a wonderful job also. A fun series though...hope the next season is good as well.
