I had read a lot of reviews about the movie and book before I went to see it, and so I thought I was prepared for what was to come. WRONG! I don't care what the critics say about this, it is one fine story. It's a tale about a "relationship" and the participants just happen to be two men. Please, if you're thinking this is going to be something to turn you off, it's not. It's VERY well done. Would also recommend the novels: "Life of Pi" by Martel, "Katzenjammer" by McCrae, and a great book called "The Man who Invented Rock Hudson."
