Prepare for War! Dragonforce style!, May 13 2004
"Sonic Firestorm." The title explains this album. It is a sonic firestorm of pounding drums, soaring vocals and razor-sharp guitars, power metal at it's best. Taking power metal to a new extreme, Dragonforce is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, power metal band out there. When I first heard this album I thought it was a joke. Fast forward five years later, I decided to give it other chance and this time my head was blown off my body. This album is one of the best metal albums by one of the best metal bands on the planet. I cannot put words into how much this album kicks ass, so I won't.

Like all the other reviewers, I too think this album is way over the top and is wicked sweet (slag for way cool). I also didn't like this album at first, but damn it grew on me now I can't get enough of it. With songs like "punishment divine" and the 14 minute song "...and than there was silence," this album is one of the best. I guess Blind Guardian does mess around when it comes to kickin' ass. Raise the metal flag high my brothers of metal!
