A National Party No More: The Conscience of a Cons&hellip by Zell Miller
Zell Miller did quite a lot for his state and his country so it's disappointing to find him writing a book whose main premise is essentially that all of the nation's ills are caused by Democrats and/or liberals. Really, Senator, you are better than that! Anyone who is concerned about the truth as much as the Senator should know that truth is not the sole property of one party. The conservative cause and Republican Party certainly has no room to talk about who owns the truth.
What's even more disappointing about this book is that it appears that Sen. Miller either a) realizes his time is almost up and the book allows him remain in the national limelight and/or b) is a politician who… Read more
NYPD Blue: Season 2 DVD ~ Jimmy Smits
NYPD Blue: Season 2 DVD ~ Jimmy Smits
5.0 out of 5 stars NYPD Blue RIP, June 18 2004
Recalling the depature of David Caruso, it seemed at the time that NYPD Blue was a lost cause. But just when things looked bleak, along comes Jimmy Smits to put his stamp on the show and help take NYPD Blue to a whole new level.

The entire set is great with the last episodes of John Kelly leading off the season. The set is packaged… Read more

Plan of Attack by Bob Woodward
Better than "Bush at War", Woodward's latest is a detailed account of the planning that went into the Iraq war. This war never looked good from the start and looks even worse after reading Woodward's book (even moreso now with the latest 9/11 commission report that there was no link to al-Qaeda). I'm not sure why Bush supporters see this book as supportive of his cause. If anything, it does the opposite and makes some of his advisors look extremely shortsighted at least and almost criminal liars at worse.
Cheney appears in the worst possible light here with a fairly unique drive to fight. The reasons for this drive are not really explained but can be assumed because of… Read more
