The TV series starring a glowering Colin Firth. Not as pretty or polished at the 1005 version with Kiera Knightly but far more true to the book. I couldn't tell you which I like better - they each appeal for different reasons. This probably isn't a good buy unless you're truly a fan of Austen or Pride and Prejudice. It would be a LONG 6 hours otherwise.
More than a little disturbing as Nabokov takes us into the mind of a paedophile. Not overly graphic and somewhat romanticized. Definitely part of a good grounding in literature. Not for young readers or those who are unusually sensitive to themes of manipulation and abuse.
