I spend all of my free time with said children and my beautiful wife, or listening to music/watching movies. My all time favorite movie is an impossibility, there are too many good ones (Fight Club, Heat, Blair Witch, Apocalypse Now, Iron Giant, LOTR are a few that come to mind). I'd buy my wish list if handed an AMAZON GC (they do that?). My month off would be spearheaded with some z's, followed by many other lazy activities. I'm obviously following AMAZON's 'let's get started' guidelines, so I'm appearantly not very decisive. I'm also incredibly good-looking and a better than average percussionist.

MYSTIC RIVER is a well made, depressing, and genuinely run-of-the-mill drama that yet again shows the wide range of crying, weeping, and sobbing SEAN PENN is always capable of. Chock full of unsympathetic characters and predictable plot arcs, this flick is way overrated. Which should suffice for fans of PENN, who is the most overrated actor in hollywood today. He and the supporting cast do a decent job of bringing their characters to life, but the story doesn't give you a chance to really like any of them. This film is strictly middle of the road. A study of characters, fidelity and relationships that is somewhat enjoyable and somewhat flat. The cast is great and work their characters well, however, none of the characters are that sympathetic save FRANCES McDORMAND's Jane and ALESSANDRO NIVOLA's wry brit rocker Ian. He steals the show as a zen free spirit that steals every scene he's in. The plot centers around CHRISTIAN BALE and KATE BECKENSALE as an engaged couple whom have to stay with BALE's mom (McDORMAND) while he attends his psychology residency at a renowned hospital. Right off the bat, BALE becomes interested in a fellow resident (McELHONE) and BECKENSALE takes a liking to Ian… Read more

Great party record. LOCAL H rocks with a spirited enthusiasm that hits the mark by not taking themselves as seriously as they take their music. This album is chock full of hard kicking beats, crunchy guitars, and good, clean hook. Cool band and a great recording that plays well (and LOUD) on fridays at quitting time.
