After watching this a second time, I will say. It is not nearly as deep as it thinks it is. It takes way too much time out of the story, and even themes it wants to explore overall, to say mostly nothing about important topics. While the visuals, music and voice acting are quite good (both in English and Japanese) the story is what really lets down, especially in the last 2 thirds, where the writers seem to get bored with their current "thesis" and start to explore others. Disgea is still the king of tactics games, and for good reason. Sharp controls, intuitive play, and a very deep system gives literally over 100's of hours of play. Only complaint is that there is a lot of game. If you are not willing to put 100 hours into the game, this is not for you. That being said, I do not find it all that repetitive.

Light hearted and humorous story, with some real touching moments.
Learning curve is a little light - Power leveling will fix any issue.

I had to buy the book for a college course and it is good enough for the course. A touch expensive, but then what text book is not. Over all it is logically laid out, and is easy enough to read. That is to say, the text is easy on the eyes, the paper is appropriate and the columns are a good width.
