Including Wild At Heart, Waking The Dead, and Capt&hellip by John Eldredge

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Escape, Sept. 2 2008
Even when I don't have time to pull out the paints and get a little messy, this book feeds my creative soul. I usually end up inspired to do a little sketching at the very least. The book is filled with useful tips. It's like sitting at the elbow of a talented artist and hearing the collective wisdom of those that she has spent time with. The variety of projects presented invite you to indulge in whatever appeals to you and experiment with something new.

What really surprised me about the book was how interested my teenagers were in it. The maps were a tremendous help, although I agree with the author that a GPS is the best way to travel Oahu. Written for all ages, all budgets, and all lengths of stay, it's the one book to take with you to Oahu. If you can't get it in time for your trip… Read more
