I bought this book as a companion to my studies of Judith Butler. It is a brief overview of Butler's writings and is a relief to Butler's sometimes challenging prose. I would recommend this book as an adjunct, but not a substitute for reading Butler, which is not to be missed.
I would (and have) recommended this book to all my friends and family. It is a life-changer. It really shows that all our problems can be boiled down to one thing: ego, and if we can get a handle on our ego we can live a much happier life.
