5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, Aug. 21 2007
Gary's latest release spans from rock to blues and a great ballad "Fades Away" tossed into the mix. Fades Away could (and should) be a big hit it's that good. He also does a really decent cover version of the old Red Rider song "Lunatic Fringe". The instrumental tune "Psychedelic Psycho" with it's bone crunching riffs and smokin' leads is incredible! "Tribal Mania" is another excellent instrumental in the same vein as something Satriani would do. Yet another instrumental "The Deep" has outstanding drumming on it. It's obvious by now that I love this cd and highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Release!, Aug. 19 2007
I've seen Frank on a number of occasions over the past couple of decades and come away completely mesmerized each time! The man's blazing guitar work and musical style is something to behold live. This studio release is a must have. My personal favourite song is "Stories of a Hero". This 8-minute song has more meaning today than ever with our courageous troops overseas fighting and dying (sadly) for the cause of others. I had the pleasure of seeing Frank perform this song live while visiting my US friend Dave in Pittsburgh back on October 20, 2005 at The Rex Theater. That was an incredible night that is etched in my mind forever.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed!, April 2 2005
As a huge April Wine fan I was also disappointed with this disc like the other reviewers.
I assumed it was a video disc with 5.1 audio but after loading it
into my DVD player I realized it wasn't, much to my chagrin. (Perhaps it was
an oversight on my part). That being said, the (so called) 5.1 audio is lousy.
It's obviously a dated live concert and some of the (in between) track cuts
are very abrupt and poorly done. For the price I paid for this disc I feel ripped
off! Save your hard earned cash and skip this disc!
