Okay, but I liked his other two books better, Oct 11 2012

When I read the first few pages of "Up and down", I had to stop and check the name of the narrator's character against "Best laid plans" and "The high road"- nope, different name...but seemed like the same character.

And I guess that's how I feel about this book- reminiscent of Mr Fallis' other two. Right down to the eccentric Canadian hero.

I also find a bit of a logic gap in this book- the premise is that a pair of 'citizen astronauts' would be put into orbit. As far as I'm aware, NASA essentially dropped any such idea after Christa McAuliffe ,selected during the "Schoolteacher in space" program perished in STS Challenger. Stick to 28 days later, Jan 3 2008

Awful, awful. I'd read the reviews that the producers were 'cashing in' and creating a franchise, but preferred not to believe them. Wish I'd saved my money.

28 Weeks has too many logical lapses to be enjoyable (blocking poison gas by shutting the vents off in a Volvo wagon?! I know they're safe, but???). It lacks the cleverness and excitement of the first film. Awful, awful.

Buy " A treasury of curious George" instead, April 12 2007

This is one of a NUMBER of stories in "Treasury". "Treasury" is okay, even if the stories and artwork aren't done by the Reys.

And "Treasury" isn't much more $$ - buy it instead of "Camping".
