Tales from Earthsea (Sous-titres français) DVD ~ Goro Miyazaki

I try to allow for "artistic license" ( I enjoy the Narnia movies) but I am a huge fan of the Earthsea books and I could not get by the near total abandonment of the original plot. There are maybe a couple scenes from the stories. My kids love Studio Ghibli and they thought it was Ok but they were puzzled by some things, especially Arren who they had trouble seeing as a hero. If you haven't read the books your experience will be different but I was disappointed.
