Stephen King does George Romero brilliantly in is techno-warfare meets terrorism horror homage to zombie movies "Cell". Terrorists send a "pulse" carrying a techno-virus via cell phone that turns everyone listening to it into rampaging homicidal killers. Artist Clayton Riddell doesn't own a cell phone and is unaffected. But he has to mae sure that his estranged wife Sharon and their son Johnny-Gee are safe. You see, they do own cell phones. They may have been listening when the pulse was transmitted. They may have been turned into the mindless killing "phoners". Clayton has to find out for sure. 5.0 out of 5 stars A fine follow up!!!, Jan. 12 2006
Being such a young writer, Christopher Paolini has blended and crafted a wonderful and definitive fantasy world for his "Inheritance" trilogy. Every detail of the story is vibrant and alive. Eldest, the second installment of the trilogy, is a better written book then the first as it more fully fleshes out this fantasy world. Paolini's maturity as a writer is showing more and more from one book to the next. And as Eldest excellently sets the stage for the next book, I can't wait to see his new found writer's maturity in full bloom. Thumbs up! Another book I've enjoyed recently is the "The Goonies meets The Invaders from Mars" scifi adventure "GAAK" by Darryl Hughes… Read more

If you've written "the next great novel", are thinking about writing one, and also thinking about taking the plundge into the wonderful world of self publishing, then this is the book for you. The marketing strategies alone are worth the price of the book. I published my book back in Nov. '04 with barely a peep in sales. I found David's book in Oct. '05 and, using the tips in the book, have sold more books in the last 3 months then I did the entire previous year. This book is a self publishers best friend. If you dream about being a writer, do yourself a favor--Get this book!!! A good book to try is the 50's style scifi alien invasion adventure "GAAK" by Darryl Hughes. Four "Goonies" like… Read more
