Never Be Lied To Again: How To Get The Truth In 5 &hellip by David J. Lieberman

This book contains a few useful gems. Section 6 on Psychological Profile was interesting as well as the discussion on human behavior and Part 8 on tricks people/organizations use to manipulate. The test of the book was crap. I can't imagine treating people the way Lieberman suggests. Maybe I could if I was never going to interact with them again. What lieberman seems to miss is that you can't try to manipulate people day-in and day-out without it harming you reputation with those people.
Beta Testing for Better Software by Michael R. Fine
I was disappointed with this book. I've worked 10+ years as
a software developer and manager so I guess I've seen everything
because this book didn't present any ideas/processes that
I hadn't seen from working in the industry. The examples
tended to be cute little stories which were lacking any real
depth. I would have rather seen some real "war" stories written
up in detail. This isn't a keeper

Nice book, nice topic, fairly well written. Unfortunately,
the author takes a lot of paper to say very little. The basic
premise is that is during the interview you should demonstrate:
1- That you can do the work
2- That you want to do the work
