I didn't want to get my son any more video games this year because all the sitting around and not moving was not good for him. Than someone told me about this game...and the mat...you can't play it with out the dance mat (extra..not included) Wow...what a wonderful thing its been. To see him playing a playstation game and exercising more than just his thumbs. He has been using it mostly in workout mode which starts easier and gradually gets harder as you *clear levels*... the music is a nice mix. This is not a new book and I have had it for many years. While I don't think there is enough variety (in models and positions) to make it a great book I have found it to be a useful reference quite a number of times. I do wish that the lighting had been stronger to give sharper shading in general for muscle definition. It doesn't have the variety or sheer number of options available in the *pose file* series but quite a few pictures are fairly large in this book which is very nice. If you do find a shot that works for you than this is a very nice book to have. I think this would be a good adjunt book if you already own several. I got this book for my son because he likes to draw dragon ball z caracters very much. He will do image searches on the internet and print out pics to copy or trace. For a child like him this kind of book would be good. The pictures are a nice size and very trace-able. Ultimately what you end up with is a line drawing that can be changed to suit you or to color as you like. Some people will find that this would not suit their needs though.
