Before Ratt entered existence, rock and roll was basically a dead entity. Name one other band who has had such influence over music in the last 30 years. I thought so. You can't. DeMartini influenced a generation of future guitar rockers, including Vedder and such, but it was the high-powered singing and deft lyricism of Stephen Pearcy that truly changed the face of music.
