I cant believe how big of a difference this book made in my life...honestly I thought it was going to be kind of cheesy and ridiculous but I was at such a low point in my life I decided to try reading it. Im so glad I did. It really changed the way I looked at myself and my life. It makes you realize things you've never thought about before and it helps you realize the things you've been missing out on. Its amazing the way this book works. Its not easy at first, and it might even feel kind of ridiculous to do some of the activities, but in the end its so worth it. This has become one of my most favorite books. This is a story that everyone should read because it gives you a real insight on a chaotic, war-ravaged world that still exists today. This is a beautiful story that mainly focuses on two women growing up in Afghanistan. The author does an amazing job describing every detail in the story, from the emotions of the characters to the harsh and realistic tyranny of the war in Afghanistan. Be prepared for a very graphic story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and throws you onto an emotional roller-coaster.
