The beginning was slow for me, but then I couldn't put it down until it was over.. I can't really explain it but, unlike all the other Brumby books, it just felt incomplete. Although the ending was great, it was missing something, it didn't seem like the book should end there. The book brings up many past stories and how they have resulted into the Silver horse we are now reading the journey of(so this isn't a book you can pick up a read without reading those before, that includes Moon Filly which isn't officially part of the series but is referred to here). Going from a 1 gb to a 32 one has made such a difference from needing to run to my computer everyday and dumping the photos to clear the card. Not have had any issues yet, haven't managed to fill the card yet either.
The camera was awful for zooming/focusing. It would spend like 5 minuets trying to focus then would refuse to take the picture because it wasn't in focus. I tried using the manual focus but that hardly worked for zoom but at least took the picture despite it nearly always being out of focus. I ended up returning it as after talking to people who have 'fancy' cameras they all agreed something was wrong. I'm not sure how a proper working camera works, not willing to try again at this point.
