This may not be the longest book of the 'find me' type, but it certainly has all the Asterix characters you could want, lots of scenes, and bright colour. I got this for a grandson as a companion to the Asterix Compendium one. The best thing in the book, for me, was a drawing of the main characters with their names. So you could turn it into a search for more than just Asterix.
I read lots of comics as a child, but never knew these existed. They weren't in the library when I worked shelving books as a teenager. I discovered these when my children read them and loved the way the books have such clever names. My only regret is not being able to read them in French. My youngest son, at the age of 5 and a decided fan even at that age, was nearly pushed under Uderzo's feet at a bookshop in town due to the press of people keen to see Uderzo do illustrations from the books. My son and another little boy were rewarded with their own, hand drawn and signed, large black marker drawing of Asterix. Treasured ever since.
