There's lots of books on the market covering applique. I found this one to be inspiring and easy to follow with encouragement to use either hand or machine stitching and reasons for using one or the other. Includes instructions for layering and suggestions for choosing the right colours on your background to make your applique designs really stand out. This will become part of my reference library. I am not a newby or an old hand at applique so this suited me perfectly. There is tons of patterns/design elements included and ready to use as is or create your own designs with. Worth the price, especially on sale!
