When I first listened to A Grand Don't Come for Free I was to quick to want to compare it to Original Pirate Material. That's not fair to either him nor me. In truth A Grand is different a many different ways and you have to come to accept thait before you can judge it accurately.
The first thing to note (as many already have) is that it is a concept album. The concept being that each song is unto itself, but is also a chapter in a larger story. A story which, by the way, comes full circle by the end of the album and is what makes the whole thing so neat.
