Padding on the arms very very minimal. A little uncomfortable there when nursing. Overall fairly good for the price though. Does the trick.

We felt that our 3 month old who isn't a big baby was already to big for this, yet her head support wasn't quite there yet. Probably would be good for newborns though.

This carrier is much more comfortable than the others I have tried. Very easy to use. Best for babies with some head support or need to use the insert which we felt was already too small for our 3 month old.
