I had this on my wish list a while, and if I had popped for it earlier I could've saved by not bothering with a bunch of hair care books from Robert Vetica to Nick Arrojo.

This was what I wanted. Great haircut pictures & descriptions that you can take to your hairdresser to explain exactly what you want. You'll know which ones to use because Eva explains how face shape & hair texture enter into it.

Hair care with explanations of product types, and tips on how to use them follow along with the best explanations of various blowdrying techniques,along with other advice on how to make your hair behave.

Watch out & buyer beware. Check the reviews on Amazon.com before buying. I wish I had. As one reviewer stated you should be wary of the 5 star reviews because a significant number seem to be reviewers with only this book which tends to look a bit like friends & family. Not all, but it skews the ratings.

I enjoyed Makeup Wakeup. I was hoping for more of the same so I ordered this in paperback (not in Kindle) thinking that with all the photos and sidebars this would work better in paper. HMMMM wish I hadn't. At least if you get a dud on the kindle you can quickly return it. Not so much returning a paper version. Much more difficult.

Great little collection of really streamlined easy classical French recipes. Purse size too, so if you are hanging out in front of the meat counter, thinking of dinner, just whip this baby out and get the ingredients. LOVE IT!!!! So sad it's gone out of print. I really treasure mine.

Maybe they could put it out on the kindle???? I'd love to have it there too! Then more people could still enjoy a truly fine French cookbook.

One of the best aspects of this book is it's edited list of recipes. These are the classic dishes that French women serve their families year in year out. Carol revised them to use easy to buy North American ingredients in case your supermarket… Read more
