A handy and decent introduction on the Bible story. The book does help explain the Bible and offers an overview on what the Bible is, how it was put together and short explanations on what each book of the Bible is about which may be sufficient for some. Personally though, it left me wanting more by way of explanation and history but then I guess it wouldn't be a pocket guide. Overall, for a few dollars more it might be worth it to get something more substantial.
