This is the third book in Boom! Studios collection of Warhammer Fantasy graphic novels. Although there are some short references to the first and second volume, reading the previous tomes is absolutely not necessary.

The story tells the tale of 3 armies; a weakened Empire Contingent, a powerful Undead Army and a savage Skaven Horde and their fight over the Crown of Destruction.

Warhammer: Condemned By Fire by Dan Abnett

Condemned by Fire is the Second Volume in Boom's Warhammer Fantasy Series. There are references to the first Volume, Forge of War - but it's not a sequel per say and can be read separately.

Art is pretty sharp, and the story revolves around a Witch Hunter that hunts down the Forces of Nurgle. There are a few interesting twists and it's a good read overall.

Although I'd recommend the first Volume over this one, if I had to pick one, I still found this book quite entertaining.

The Warhammer background, the richness of the environment, the combat system... it rocks. Sure there are a few bugs, but they'll be ironed out over the next few months, I'm sure, and it's way more polished, at launch, than any other MMOs I seen before.

The good thing is that this is the sort of game for players that work and have a life outside the game. To acquire some decent gear, you don't have to quest/raid for hours,… Read more
