Someone else said most of the humor revolves around the hero's boobs, and I second that. It starts out OK with an original idea but all of the characters are flat and the progress is uninteresting. I think it had potential but the storyboard didn't work out.
This one is a bit more grown up than a lot of seinen anime because the plot revolves more around men than scantily-clad girls; it's pretty intense and amusing and has an uplifting tone. I really liked this one and I think a wide variety of audiences could enjoy it.
If it's from Gonzo and on BD today you won't be wasting your time or money, it's a sure win. This one doesn't rank among the top for me, though because I've seen a lot of anime and it doesn't really stand out but once upon a time I would have given it five stars.
It's supposed to be "Spaghetti Western" style, but it's only about as "Wild-West" as Samurai Champloo is "Hip-Hop"; not very. The only character who speaks with a soft "suthern" accent in the Dub has it because she's American but she's from New York anyway.
