A great baking recipe book, where you know that the outcome will always taste good given the research behind the recipes. I've had the book for a month and a half, made several recipes and all have turned out great. I find their 'prep time' guidelines to be a little on the low side (but maybe that is just me being slow).
Generally, thumbs up. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because the recipes aren't always exactly the same as the sister mag cooks illustrated or the Americas test kitchen show. I'd still like to read the write ups on the recipes like they have in their other cookbooks.
So all in all, it wasn't exactly what I expected, but I still love it anyway… Read more
