Late one Christmas Eve a few years ago, I heard a Christmas song by The Supremes on the radio. I've always been a huge Supremes fan, but I had never heard this song before. Not surprisingly, I was immediately enchanted by Diana Ross's voice (backed by the enriching sounds of The Supremes) on this Christmas classic, so I bought "The Supremes Merry Christmas" CD, and I've been enjoying it ever since.

. Diana Ross has a sweet, creamy voice that works wonderfully with Christmas music. I'm not a fan of Christmas music per se; yet Diana has a way of making the songs so rich and beautiful, that I find myself listening to these songs year 'round when I feel the need for a bit of Christmas cheer!
Add to this the Supremes Christmas Album, and you'll have a very happy holiday season, no matter what time of the year it may be.
Diana is a sparkling angel atop my Christmas tree when she sings these beautiful songs. It makes my heart happy to hear this music.
. Of all the CD's in this "two-fer" inport CD collection, the sound quality is good for the most part. However, the sound quality on the "A Go-Go" half of this CD is terrible!
There is a strange "snapping" sound that occurs throughout most of the songs on this part of the CD. It's especially annoying on "These Boots Were Made for Walkin". It's obviously an audio defect of some sort on the CD. I exchanged my first copy of this CD for another one, and found the same problem on the second CD.
I've also spoken to a few friends who also bought this CD, and they have concurred that there is definitely something very wrong with the sound on the… Read more
