I loved this book- the recipes are quite simple but it is a sweet look at an ideal day in the life of a french family. He goes through the ideal petit dejeuner, dejeuner, etc, explaining what he and his family like to eat and do. The photos are also very nice. It is more an inspirational book than recipe book.
I love David L. and his wonderful blog ([...]). His books are funny, mouth watering and satisfying. This book contains so many hilarious stories about life amongst Parisians-all the frustrations and joys of living and cooking in Paris. Highly recommended.
Although a little "broad" in spots, this book is a hilarious look at all the things older people do that keep making us look old. I read some of it out loud to my young adult sons and they thought she had really nailed it. Alot of excellent advice for the over 40 crowd.
