I chose this book searching for specific information that would help me further my Plein Air expertise. It requires careful study, even note taking to gain the full benefit from a book packed full of helpful information. I discovered new insights that have proven helpful. I would recommend this book to anyone specifically interested in painting on site.
This is the fourth book I have purchasd and read on the subject of preventing/reversing heart disease. They all have good advice based on proven research. The problem arises when you commit to a raw plant food diet and find it very time consuming, and an onerous departure from typical daily menu advocated by other responsible nutritionists. In my opinion Dr. Brill's advice on the same topic is commonly in accord with the "fruit and vegetable regimen" but makes provision for modest inclusion of the Mediterranean diet which is easier and pleasanter to follow. After a thorough reading of this book and frequent back checking of specific clinic results cited by the author I give this book top marks. I am elderly and in the process of adopting many of his recommendations in hopes of extending my life another decade. Having successfully had both by-pass surgery and prostate treatment the book opens new doors to healthy eating for me to enter. The recipes are tasty and easy to prepare leaving me feeling noticeably better. What more can I say.
