I had the good fortune of being given almost the entire Wheel of Time series by a family member because of a move - and read all of the books voraciously. I was glad that I had not had to wait the year(s) in between books, as I would have been impatient to learn of the characters' fates. When Brandon Sanderson took over after Robert Jordan's death, I was confident in his abilities as I was already a fan of his own work. I found his writing true to the spirit of Jordan's story, if a bit tighter and more to the point. I am not a big fan of spoilers, so I will just say that I would have tweaked one or two small things about the ending, but it was a satisfying conclusion to the series.
