5.0 out of 5 stars It's Own Animated Movie, July 19 2004
"Triplets of Belleville" ("Belleville Rendez-Vous") is a highly unique modern-day animated film. It garnered two 2003 Oscar nominations: Best Animated Film and Best Original Song. This French film shows how to keep audiences entertained for eighty minutes without hearing much dialogue. The only dialogue heard is from the radio, the music, and the television. This has not often been mastered so delightfully since the days of silent movies in the 1920's. Pollock (Special Edition) (Sous-titres français) DVD ~ Ed Harris
Ed Harris stars, directs, and produces the great 2000 film "Pollock". It wonderfully portrays the life and turbulances of famed painter Jackson Pollock. This beautiful film shows how Pollock became world-known. However, more than his art is expressed. His struggles and destructive lifestyle represent his art influences and portray who he was. This brilliant plot expresses the emotional side of the events wonderfully. Such depth proves Ed Harris's, who plays Pollock, true fascination. The radiance keeps audiences interested scene by scene, leading to the surprising conclusion. Through everything, the Oscar-nominated performances by Harris and Marcia Gay Harden (she won) play the key… Read more

From there until their break-up in 1982, they continued releasing great albums and great singles for listeners to enjoy, including their most successful "Hotel California". Their success never stopped. Some may be surprised knowing that they lost the Grammy for Best New Artist of 1972 to America. However, the legendary music continues living more intensely. "The Very Best of The Eagles" is a great compilation album that presents fans new and old their successes.
The variety of musical genres proves that The Eagles mastered music fluently: rock, pop, and country. Regardless which is accented most, the songs… Read more
