Sure, it's not an Oscar-winner, but with wall-to-wall gags, homages, and slapstick humor, how can you lose. Michael Richards alone makes it worthy of ownership. :D
With two parallel adventures going on, this story is very captivating and creatively done. I won't spoil it for anyone by giving away too much. It involves a family reunion and the world they live in bases all commerce through the internet, and without that chaos ensues. Someone has to save the commercial world in order to save the real one.
Very interesting, especially for its parallels between their situation and our own. :)
The ad and description left me with the impression that this was a children's book in the modern sense that it would be profusely illustrated. The opposite is true. It's more like some of the older books in that there are minimal (albeit beautifully done) black and white drawings in the individual stories, set out in chapter form.
I am still pleased with this purchase as it at least collects all of Wilde's life lesson fairy tales into one volume. Still worth the price. :)
