In My Own Words:
I have a huge passion for music, movies, and books (thus, my active participation in reviewing things here). My next novel is "Stolen Lives" and it'll be available August 1, 2006 from River Oak. I'm also the author of the Christian fiction novel _Portal_, with three more novels in the works. My website is www.BrianReaves.net. Ray Bradbury remains the master of the short story. Unfortunately, Ray's last collection of new stories, "One More For the Road" was a big disappointment to most Bradbury fans. The stories were depressing and seemed to center around old people facing death and the hopelessness of life...a far cry from the master storyteller we'd grown up with who always seemed to look with wonder toward the uncertain future, anxious to see what new devices and dreams tomorrow might bring. Don Knotts does well in his role, but he a little underused. Still, it's a good way for a family to spend time together one rainy Saturday afternoon. Now on to the DVD transfer. It's sad. They didn't try to clean it up digitally or anything. It looks like they just used a VHS tape and threw it on a DVD. The quality of this film makes me a little leery about buying the next set they throw out. While I love to see these classics finally come to DVD, I hate to see them wasted on… Read more

Being the first reviewer of this game to have actually PLAYED it, I enjoyed it. If you have Spider-Man:Mysterio's Menace, then you'll be pretty familiar with the gameplay. There is a 3-d section of the game that's pretty cool as you choose levels and missions, but otherwise it's a standard side-scroller. The first level has you delivering pizzas. Unfortunately, they give you no idea where your delivery is supposed to go, so you frantically search all the buildings inside and out to find them (HINT: there is a family seated in an apartment in the last building waiting for the pizza. You can only reach them through the air ducts). That's a little frustrating, but the rest of the game gets… Read more
