5.0 out of 5 stars The Catcher in the Rye, Jun 21 2004
I was required to read The Catcher in the Rye for school and I must say that it was my favorite book that we read all year. Holden, the main character, is a cynical teenager and the book is about his "adventures" after getting kicked out of school. I really liked the way the book was written. It uses slang and cuss words just how it would be like if Holden was actually telling you his story. The plot is very exciting and makes you want to keep reading to find out what happens. It is a fabulous book that I would recommend to any teenager or adult.

I am interested in psychology but I am only in 10th grade so I have had no formal training in psychology. I really liked this book because it gave me a quick overview of psychology without getting too technical. It was easy to read even for someone who does not know a lot about the subject. It gives an overview of every aspect of psychology and is a great book for anyone who is interested in psychology and just wants an overview.
Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six M&hellip by Ben Mezrich
This is one of the best non fiction books I have ever read. It is the story of M.I.T. students who were successful card counters and won millions in Vegas. I was interested in the characters in the story and what they had to know and do in order to make their plans work. The fact that the book was non fiction made it even more interesting because some of their encounters were soIt is a compelling book that I had a hard time putting down. I also liked it because it was a nice and easy read... good for a trip or summer when you don't feel like reading a book thats hard to understand.
