Just a short review.
This is a wonderful evolution to 3.5. Like all newer models, it has more bells and whistles, but it has also removed some extra weight in other places. It is a shapelier, curvier 3.5.
One thing I strongly advise is to not stop with the rule book. The world of Golarion is a fantastic place. Take a look at some of the location guides, like Absalom, and also give one of the Adventure Paths a chance. I have found that the stories that are woven are of some of the highest caliber out there, but they are not just dungeon-crawls, so be warned.

This appears at first to be a rather simple game, but if you like Anime/Manga, you will love how it develops. The story takes a somewhat historical path with some twists, but it does it well. It's not the best story out there, but is well done for what it is.
The game play is enjoyable, despite some of the typical "hey, the computer can do this but I can't" stuff. You will find it enjoyable on a few levels, from discovering how to beat it with the highest scores versus playing it with some military style.
