The Hiroshima Stones by Troy W. Nilsson
The Hiroshima Stones by Troy W. Nilsson
I was very moved and interested in the effects of war on the people who experienced it. ... the nuclear bombs and the results of our using them.... the human cost of war and nuclear development. ... the loss of life and the lifelong horrific trauma ... the idea that this could have been me or my loved ones and friends. I wanted to go to Hiroshima and see the memorials for myself. The shadow pictures moved me deeply. The images of the people after the bomb are engraved in my mind - I can still see them. - I think a movie of Hiroshima Stones would be EXCELLENT!
I am grateful to the author for putting in word what I have felt for many years.
