Thoroughly Disappointed, Oct 1 2007

This movie was a favorite of mine as a child. Unfortunately both the Ultimate Edition and the other Edition feature the Director's Cut, which completely ruined the movie in my mind. Anyone who loved this movie as a child should avoid both versions of Legend in DVD. The revised score is horrific compared to the originally aired version, it's disjointed and mangles the scene itself, as though the composer wasn't even watching the movie. The part played by Mia Scott is ruined by the additional scenes, in which she's referred to as a Princess, rather than a Lady (as in the original) and rather than sweet, naive and innocent she comes across as spoiled and demanding.
