I picked up the book because Rob Lilwall cycled through Siberia during the winter and I wanted to read the thoughts of a man wild enough to dream up such a thing.
The book turned out to be a great read: extremely personable, down to earth, funny and insightful. This being a travelogue, I found that Rob rarely toed the line for the sake of drama. Instead, he was always respectful in his descriptions of the places and people he met and the effort to connect and relay his honest emotions was palpable.
Anyway, great read! For any urban dweller with itchy feet out there, be warned that it may cause your mind to wander and increase your daydreaming threshold!
