... this is an extrordinary collection. The quality is the best I've seen on dvd (previous versions) or vhs. The color (black and white) tones are sharp and clean, and the audible track is without hiss, noise and surpassingly clear. Didn't see all the promised extras (there is a booklet w/ some of the history of the film titles included in the case), but then I am more interested in the film itself anyway. The four discs come in a handsome multicompartmented case which looks great on your library shelf. One thing I have noticed as missing from these releases is the occassional background voice-over (painfully evident) that was used for side conversations. This is a movie which follows the comic book development of the charactors with great zeal. Costumes are excellent as are the special effects. Casting is superb and one can only hope that future sequels will use the same Parker, Harry Osborn and Jamison. The story line is clear and easy to understand. You needn't be familiar with the comic book. Charactors develop naturally and can be sympathized with (or hated). Special effects are outstanding. Nothing more to be said. All in all and outstanding movie -- suitable for everyone in the family. I hope that the next movie will be equally as good. Stongly Recommended. ~Paul~

... about this one. Yes, visually it's stunning -- and some of the scenes are interesting as well. But the film as a whole is diffuse and at times confusing. The original Star Wars Trilogy led one from one scene to another with a strong sense of what was going on and why. Attack of the Clones just sort of wallows around a bit and seems to take pot shots at the action. LucusFilms seems to be putting more emphasis on the special effects and computer generated graphics than on the story -- and there is a story to be told here.
