Different people motivate in different ways. At first I thought Gary V was too "in-your-face" for me as I tend to be more of a relaxed guy. After a few episodes of WLTV I realized that Gary was simply being Gary. He is excited... all the time. It doesn't take long to notice that this excitement is actually how Gary shows passion for what he loves. I have been in the graphic design industry for the past 10 years and although fully trained in the field I still find myself asking questions that were never addressed while studying. Because of these nagging questions I have set out to find relevant titles that will provide me with the answers that I needed. One aspect of design that I have always been obsessed with is typography. So much work goes into the design of a font. Playing With Fire was a fairly easy read for me. I have always been a fan of Gordon Ramsay the person (not just Gordon Ramsay the Chef) and when I read the back cover of the book it was exactly what I was looking for. This was not a book of recipes and cooking techniques showcasing his incredible cooking abilities, this was penned as a look into the incredible business built around the 'Gordon Ramsay' name.
