As a child I remember watching the movie Black Beauty over and over again. I just recently acquired the book on my Kindle and was not disappointed! For me, it was a very nostalgic book that took me back to being a child. It is a very easy read, but it is beautifully written with very vivid imagery. I found it very easy to get into and sympathize with the character of Black Beauty and I experienced many emotional ups and downs throughout the plot. Overall, it was an excellent read that I would highly recommend!
I was very excited to read World War Z as I had heard many positive reviews from people I know. I had even over heard multiple strangers talking about it and recommending it to their friends. When I went to read it Season 2 of The Walking Dead had finished recently, bath salts face eating events were occurring - I was stoked for a good apocalyptic zombie book! I am currently 88% done this book according to my Kindle and I am forcing myself to finish it for the mere purpose of finishing it.
