I have been a student to ACIM for 25 years and although I have not felt the need to purchase books related to A Course in Miracles, this book is written to help the reader understand the course in a simple and concise manner. A Course in Miracles is written beautifully and trains the mind to see the world from a place of love, however for many readers it is also a very challenging text to read. Living a Course in Miracles: An Essential Guide to the Classic Text, is very helpful in reviewing the principles in simpler language. This book is well worth reading and stands on it own as a spiritual guide.
I heard about this book on PBS during a fund raiser wtih Wayne Dyer. I have read it three times in a month and it has opened up my mind and expanded my understanding of the nature of being. Anita's story, which she said was not easily described in words, can help to heal the mind of fear and death. A excellent book that can be life changing.
